Rose Mina Munjee is an experienced mindfulness facilitator certified by the University of Toronto Applied Mindfulness Meditation Program, the Center for Mindfulness Studies, University of Toronto, and trained by University of California San Diego, and the Center for Mindful Self Compassion. Rose facilitates individual and group courses and workshops for Individuals, Groups, Leaders, and Staff, in evidence-based mindfulness interventions including MBSR, MBCT, and MSC. She is also a Rotman MBA graduate (2000) and a candidate for Registered Psychotherapist by CRPO. Rose has worked internationally in senior roles in Business Process Analysis and Systems Integration for CIBC, Scotiabank, IBM, Algorithmics, Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance, and the University of Toronto. She has facilitated Mindfulness at Work and Mindful Leadership workshops for organizations including Mastercard Foundation, IBM, The 519 Community Center, University of Toronto, and United Steelworkers Union. Learn practical ways to manage stress
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is for individuals experiencing stress resulting from chronic physical and psychological conditions.
This 8-week psycho-educational group program helps develop capacity for greater calm and teaches practical skills to manage stress. The majority of MBSR program participants report lasting decreases in psychological and physical symptoms exacerbated by chronic stress. Research has demonstrated improved behavioural outcomes including better sleep, lower blood pressure, and fewer worries.
Participants Will Learn
To develop a different relationship to stress resulting from chronic physical and psychological conditions. Please note that the MBSR program includes mindful movement exercises with options to modify movements and poses for comfort and safety.

Sessions 1-8: March 2, 2019 - May 11, 2019 | 11am - 1:30pm
Silent Retreat: April 27th, 2019 | 10am - 4pm
