About Larissa – Larissa is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher & Healing Channel. She has been studying energy and healing for over a decade and holds certificates in Reiki, Axiatonal Alignment, Complete Cellular Mind Body Alignment, Crystal Healing, Auras, Chakras & Kundalini and Therapeutic Touch. She also holds certificates in Psychic Mediumship, Reiki, and Spiritual Healing & Counselling and has studied in Canada and Lilydale, New York.  She has studied Vipassana Meditation and completed a course in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. MEDITATION RETREAT: Journey to the Sun

This is a 1 Day Guided Meditation Retreat at OM Toronto

As we Journey around the life-giving Sun, we often get caught up in daily life, routine, to-do lists, and stories and fantasies about what we think we "should" or "have" or "ought" to be. We are consistently receiving new and healing frequencies for our growth and awareness, if only we could  stay quiet long enough to receive and listen.

What you will learn & experience

  •  Guided Meditation
  • Breathing techniques to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system
  • Learn to identify stories versus inspired thoughts and visions
  • Mindfulness & Vipassana techniques for reflection & observation
  • Observe your thoughts
  • A greater sense of knowing and presence
  • Establish moments of stillness in stress
  • Gather & record your intuitive learnings & awareness from the day

What to bring:

  • Dress comfortably and in layers, as your temperature will fluctuate through breathing techniques and meditation. *Please No restrictive clothing
  • You are welcome to bring whatever makes you comfortable; a pillow, slippers, cozy clothing, a blanket, a yoga mat.  
  • We do have some yoga mats, blankets,  and pillows, and will provide hot water and tea
  • Please bring your lunch. There is a Korean grocery store beneath OM Toronto, which has fresh fruit and some prepared meals, if you happen to forget or don't have time to prepare.
